Children’s books are the heart of what we do at Leveled Reader. It is our mission to get well-written, high quality books into the hands of kids. As teachers and parents ourselves, we know the value of reading a book that brings emotion, imagination and deep thought into the life of a child. We read lots and lots of books, and then we select those that are the cream of the crop, the very best books in print. The exciting thing is that great children’s books are being published all the time
, so the world of children’s literature is always fresh and intriguing. Just like the kids, we are thrilled to see a new offering from a beloved favorite author. Or an old favorite classic be given new life in the form of a reader. Or the debut of a new series by a promising new author.
Even though we have sorted the books on our website into levels, we know that these divisions are unimportant to most kids. Kids choose what to read based on what speaks to them, what interests them, and what moves them. They should. Present them with exceptional choices and watch their reading skills bloom.
